Artistree is a curated music industry platform for undiscovered talent to grow their careers through exposure to labels, brands, and collaborative partnerships with established artists.
An identity, online presence, and awareness campaign was needed to launch the Artistree brand and attract underground performers to the platform to sign up and submit their music. The visual identity was designed around the name and service offering of the platform. The letter “A” was abstracted into a tree icon with three colour segments representing the undiscovered talent, the labels and brands seeking the talent, and the Artistree platform which connects them. A series of illustrations and design elements were created depicting various music industry themes, symbolism and cultural slang, which were in turn juxtaposed against representational human figures in a state of performance. This unique and memorable graphic language provided a vast array of digital content for the platform and social media channels, as well as merchandise and print advertising.
