The work of artist Gail Frances Hall is known for its big skies and seascapes that appear to leap off the canvas. To translate this impression of depth, the artists’ initials were designed to lie within a shape reminiscent of the Necker cube—a shape famous for its shifting perspectives. This design approach hints to the viewer that art is not always what it seems, and best appreciated from more than one viewpoint.
